Cape Naturaliste, South Western AustraliaCape Naturaliste marks the turning point in the coastline from the Indian Ocean into Geographe Bay. For over one hundred kilometres the coast runs from the south to the north. At Cape Naturaliste it heads east to Bunker Bay and into Geographe Bay. It picks up some of the last big ocean swells and is rugged and remote. I have often photographed out there and felt like the last person on Earth. Wendover Airport was my favourite shooting location in America

It is named after French explorer Jacques Emmanuel Hamelin who sailed through the area in about 1801

a sense of nostalgia and references to the culture of the day
